Providing security and scalability for a global manufacturer enabled them to keep up with supply chain demands — ensuring consistent product delivery and stocked shelves.
When this global manufacturer opened a new corporate office, they sought a partner to design and build an IT solution from the ground up, including racking and cabling (fiber and copper), networking and security, storage, Intel and Windows servers, and telephony.
This client transitioned from purchasing one product to trusting Dynamix to manage a solution incorporating an impressive breadth of technology. Dynamix designed and built a new internal datacenter with a converged LAN/SAN core, new layer 2 switches throughout the enterprise, new wireless using WLCs and managed access points, new firewalls and flawless migration from the legacy location. Dynamix implemented Cisco UCS with VMWare and an FC attached SAN array. All physical servers were P-to-V’d into the virtual environment and protected with Veeam backups. New IBM Power servers also brought critical virtualization to the IBM iSeries application. A new wireless solution allowed for cohesive SSID management and use across the entire company with no roaming or dropping issues. Cisco UC was also deployed, providing a new and remotely managed phone and collaboration solution. Lastly, a project is currently
underway to deploy VDI, allowing the client to move employees to virtual desktops for better security and administration.
Dynamix brought this client into a new, secure environment without incident. As their primary IT provider, Dynamix also provides ongoing support, building on a years-long partnership founded on trust.
