Software Defined Network

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is the next evolution in designing, managing, and optimizing networks. SDN allows Network Engineers to separate the decision making process from the way regular data flows, to make it easier to optimize critical data. This is done with a centralized controller that provides an overall view of the network. Through the controller network teams can easily make and push out decisions on how the underlying systems (routers, switches, etc) will handle traffic and optimize communication.
